Is Futuroscope any good?
Futuroscope is a unique park, well-presented and managed. Its an above average experience – it’s just in the wrong place! Overall, if you’re in the area (even as far away as the Loire) or travelling South it’s certainly worth a one-day visit.

Futuroscope, or Parc du Futuroscope is a French theme park based upon multimedia, cinematographic futuroscope and audio-visual techniques. It has several 3D cinemas and a few 4D cinemas along with other attractions and shows, some of which are the only examples in the world.

Futuroscope sits on the outskirts of the picturesque university city of Poitiers in western France, which is less than two hours from Paris by train. Poitiers dates back – astonishingly – to the first century.
